About Us

At MIM Therapy, we believe everyone deserves a safe, supportive space where healing can begin.

No topic is ever off the table, and every individual is welcomed with compassion and understanding.

With over a decade of collective experience in therapy and mental health support, our team has worked closely with individuals and families from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. We’ve helped clients navigate a wide range of challenges, including substance use, mental health disorders, child protective service involvement, chronic illness, cancer diagnoses, grief after the loss of a child, relationship struggles, women’s issues, sexual trauma, domestic violence, and the emotional impact of end-of-life concerns.

Our approach is shaped by clinical expertise, real-world experience, and a deep commitment to emotional wellness. We are passionate about creating a therapeutic space where your story is at the center of our work together.

Each session is thoughtfully tailored to meet you where you are — offering personalized care, evidence-based techniques, and a path toward lasting healing and resilience.

At MIM Therapy, you are never alone on your journey.

Healing, growth, and connection are always possible — and it all starts with being heard.

My clinical experience includes internships at North City Counseling, The Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders, and Texas Wesleyan University’s Community Counseling Center. Professionally, I have served as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at Emergence Health Network MHMR, specializing in bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. I also worked as a Conservatorship Worker and Supervisor at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, where I supported families facing abuse, neglect, mental health, and substance use challenges. Additionally, I volunteered as a CASA Guardian ad Litem (GAL), advocating for children in foster care.

Today, I provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy for Texas residents, both in-person and virtually. My services also include EMDR therapy and Prepare/Enrich pre-marital and marital counseling.
